A blessed Thanksgiving!
The entire Office of Admissions has a great deal for which we are thankful. Each of us will be spending the next few days with family and friends near and far. We are blessed to serve here at Concordia Seminary where the focus is on forming men and women for ministry. We are thankful for the relationships we have with all who inquire and apply for admission. Each member of our staff, full-time and student workers, is where we are today because God continues to guide and bless His people and their gifts for use in service.
We are also grateful for the number of applications we have received for the 2013-2014 academic year. To date we have received 51 Master of Divinity, 3 Alternate Route, and 8 Deaconess applications. Many are busy writing letters of recommendations for our applicants. District Interview Committees are meeting with applicants to write their reports. Several applicants are working to complete their Entry-Level Competency exam preparations so they can take the exams soon. God bless each person and the work they are doing!
For now, though, we hope you and those you love are able to take some time off from daily routines, gather for special meals, and remember with thanksgiving all that God provides, chiefly the forgiveness of sins through our loving Savior, Jesus Christ.
God’s richest blessings as you celebrate this week.
