A few weeks ago I attended the Southeastern District Convention. As I walked around, and through, the proceedings, I made a valuable discovery (at least to me). As I looked around the convention floor, I saw many familiar faces. I saw pastors with whom I attended seminary. I saw pastors for whom I served as admissions counselor. I also young men who I am currenlty encouraging as they consider seminary. So many different people at so many different stages made me realize that the opportunity to meet and know these people is another perk of being an admissions counselor.
